Selling Your Home
Dransfield Shared Ownership gives Owners a high level of choice and control
Individual owners can decide to sell their share at any time.
If you wish to sell your share, your co-owners will have the right to acquire your share at your nominated price before you offer it to the market
The choice is yours, as is accepting any price offerred.
Home owners may collectively decide to sell the home or leave the Shared Ownership arrangement at any time.
If at least 50% of owners wish to sell the home or leave Dransfield Shared Ownership they can vote to do so. Dransfield will manage the sale of the home.
The Shared Ownership arrangement automatically ends at the time nominated in the contract, usually 8-10 years.
To give owners the capability to end their investment, homes participate in Dransfield Shared Ownership for a fixed initial term of 8-10 years. At the end of that term owners decide whether they wish to renew for rolling ongoing periods or sell the whole home.
